Donald Joseph Scott II, age 52, passed away on March 18, 2025, in Marrero, Louisiana. He was born on May 22, 1972, in Houma, Louisiana, to Donald and Linda Scott.

Donald Scott II was a free spirit who lived life on his own terms, always marching to the beat of his own drum. He embraced life in his own unique way, whether spending time outdoors, fishing, camping, or enjoying the quiet moments that brought him peace. Though he kept to himself, those who knew him admired his independent nature and the courage he had to live authentically. He worked as a tankerman on tugboats, a job that suited his love for the water and his strong, self-reliant spirit. Donald was his own man, and he will be remembered for his strength, individuality, and the way he made every moment his own.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Donald Joseph Scott Sr., and Donna Scott Plaisance. He is survived by his sister, Mary Authement; children, Corey (Payton) Scott, Joleigh Scott (Hunter), Matthew Scott (Layla), Zachary Scott, Madison Scott, and Trinity Scott. He had six children and six grandchildren: Masyn, Emry, Kinsley, Everlyn Scott, Jazmine, and Valerie Gisclair.
