Donald Howard Presley, Jr., 67 of the Crane Creek community, departed this life on October 24, 2020, after fighting a long and brave battle with cancer. Don was born on December 1, 1952, in Gulfport, Mississippi. He was a Catholic, and as a child he proudly served as an altar boy at St. Thomas Church. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Howard Presley, Sr., and Dorothy Gifford Presley, as well as a sister, Fritzi Presley. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Presley, two daughters, Heather (John) Moran and Andrea Montana; sisters Katharine (Gerald) Paige, Gretchen Presley Pannell and Janine (Bruce) Williams; seven grandchildren, Alyssa Presley, Carson Montalto, Ava Bauden, Hannah Moran, Bryce Moran, Brennan Moran and Ashton Moran; as well as six great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Don graduated from Gulfport High School in 1970, and he then attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He began his professional career with Ocean Drilling and Exploration Company working in the Gulf of Mexico as an Industrial Relations Representative specializing in Occupational Safety and Health, and subsequently left ODECO to work in International Operations as a Health Training with McDermott for the Middle East area. After fifteen years covering five Middle East companies with McDermott, he had an opportunity to work for Alyeska at the Valdez Terminal in Valdez, Alaska. Eventually, Don returned to the Middle East to reside in Dubai where he worked as a manager and trainer of H2S safety until his retirement. Don was loved dearly by his family and a memorial service will be held in the near future. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Presley family in their time of need, asking everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
