Donald Craig Hatten

Donald Craig Hatten, 50 of Wiggins passed May 12th. He was born January 30, 1971 to Don and Wanda Hatten at the old hospital in Wiggins. He is preceded in death by his parents. Craig is survived by his children, son, Richard Hatten and his fiancé, Amber Bodie, daughter, Amber Hatten and her fiancé, Brandonn Pace, and son, CJ Hatten and his fiancé, Cheyenne Malley; his best friend, Sherri Dant; his brother and sister-in-law, Corby and Amber Hatten; his grandchildren, Kade, Tobias and Novaleigh along with numerous extended family and friends. Craig barely survived childhood with his younger brother, Corby. They were rambunctious and high-spirited boys that loved each other dearly. Craig was a simple man that enjoyed a good cup of coffee and spending time with his family. He tried to teach his children about the important things in life like forgiveness, giving all that you have and being a hard worker. He worked for Hood Industry for over 13 years. Craig’s family will fondly remember the times spent on the pier listening to music or the times fishing at Airey Tower. The love Craig had for his family was the same love they had for him – unconditional. He will be forever remembered and sadly missed. Visitation will be Monday, May 17th at Paramount Baptist Church from 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral ceremony will be officiated by Bro. Jeremy Smith at 1 with interment to follow at church cemetery.
