Donnie leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend, Rebecca “Becky” Necaise, with whom he shared a lifetime of love. He was a proud father to his daughters, Katrina Shaw (Barry Tarver) and Natasha Green (Garry Green), and a cherished grandfather to Braxton Green, Taylor Shaw, Jr., Olivia Shaw, Addison Green, and Carter Green, who were truly the joy of his life.

He is also survived by his siblings: Amy Ladner (Roger), Dubois Ladner (Pat), Sylvia Walker (Glen), Thresia Dykes, Annette Ladner (Roland), Veronica Ladner (Randall), Mary Cade (Dewayne), Regina Weeks (Timothy), Larry Necaise (Yvette), Paul Necaise (LarRece), Gerard Necaise, and John Necaise. Donnie proudly served his country, completing two tours in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He continued his lifelong commitment to service through the Mississippi National Guard, where he dedicated many years before retiring with the distinguished rank of Chief Warrant Officer Four (CW4). His service reflected his deep sense of duty, honor, and love for his country.

He is further survived by his uncle, Charles Necaise (Becca); his aunts, Myra Peterson, Helen Jones (Ronnie), and Linda Necaise; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Donnie found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed reading, watching television, hunting, fishing, and most of all, spending time visiting with family and friends. A faithful Christian of the Roman Catholic faith, he lived with humility, generosity, and an unwavering love for his family.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Biloxi VA Home-Based Primary Care (HBPC) and Hospice Team, the Vital Caring Hospice Team, his devoted daily care assistant, Cheryl Drean, and to Gloria Ann “Granny” Ladner and Amy Flynt for their loving support, compassion, and care during his final days.
