Mrs. Dianne M. Ladnier, 70 of Biloxi, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at her residence. Dianne was born December 5th, 1946 in Biloxi, one of 6 children to Ross and Viola Harris. She grew up in Biloxi, and was a very outgoing and happy young lady. She attended Biloxi High, and at 16, met the love of her life, W.E. "Walter" Ladnier, just after he was discharged from the US Navy. They were married on December 6th, 1962, and had been together since, raising their family in the St. Martin community of Biloxi. Walter then served in the US Army, and after his military service, worked for the Base Exchange at Keesler. Dianne made her career as a bookkeeper for TG&Y and later KMart, where she retired. Dianne loved life, and was one who never met a stranger. She so enjoyed her family and friends, and will surely be sadly missed by all who's life she touched. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Walter E. Ladnier, Sr; one daughter, Melinda (Timothy) Parker of the Beatrice community, and two sons, Walter E. Jr. (Sherry) and David M. (Corina) Ladnier, both of Biloxi; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grands, and numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends and acquaintances. She was preceded by her parents, Eddie Ross and Eva Viola Harris; brothers Walter and Herman Harris, sisters Nora Hafer, Nettie Summers, and Irene Whitehead; one grandson, Robert Gelsinger, and a grand-daughter, Briana Ladnier. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 11th, at 9:00 AM, at Biloxi National Cemetery. Please keep Mr. Walter, and the entire Ladnier family in your prayers through this difficult time.
