Diann Challa Tristan (Darby) Stiglet

Diann Challa Tristan Stiglet, 41 of Denham Springs, was sadly and suddenly taken from us on February 10, 2024, in a vehicle accident on I-12 in St. Tammany Parish. She was born January 26th, 1983 in Bay St. Louis, MS, the daughter of Rene Mitchell Darby and Catherine Mary (Bennett) Lane. Diann was a vibrant, beautiful woman, who many would say was "nothing short of a firecracker". Loved by all who knew her, Diann is remembered as a fun, crazy, and very energetic person. She always found a way to bring a smile out, mostly because she was always happy herself. A definite people person, Diann made her career as a waitress because she loved being around people. She taught her children to be teachers and leaders rather than followers in life. Never one to pull any punches, you always got not only the truth, but exactly what was on her mind at the time, no matter if you liked it or not. Some might even say theirs was a "love - hate" relationship, but Diann had this knack of always finding her way back to those she cared about. She loved her kids and family with all her heart and was a cherished friend to so many. Diann is remembered as an amazing, loving, and caring person. Some of the words used to describe her include: a free-spirited ray of sunshine, the life of the party, and best friend. For all that she was, Diann will be forever loved and missed by all whose life she touched. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Diann Bennett and Frank, Sr. and Rose Darby; her step-father Michael Blaize; Alfred Helton; with uncles Alden and Lawrence Bennett, and Frank Darby, Jr. Left to cherish her many wonderful memories are: her children: Bethany (Kendrick) Stiglet, Christopher (Savannah) Stiglet, and Braleigh Stiglet; her father, Rene and Cindy Darby, and her mother Catherine and David Lane; her sisters: Carol (Brian) Shaw, Victoria Darby, and Brittany (Andrew) Darby, with brothers Jantzen (Dylan) Frame-Darby and Eric (Ashley) Blaize, along with her beloved "Gizmo" and numerous extended family members, friends, and untold numbers of customers she has served through the years. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 19th at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Visitation begins at 12:00 noon, with a chapel service to follow at 2:00 PM. Afterward, Diann will be laid to rest in the Wolf River Cemetery in Gulfport.
