Desiree Ann Sundquist

August 12, 1978 — August 10, 2020

Carriere, MS

Desiree Ann Sundquist, originally of New Orleans but recently of the Hideaway Lake community in Carriere, lost her battle with cancer Monday, August 10, 2020, just 2 days before her 42nd birthday. She was born August 12, 1978 in Phoenix, AZ, the oldest of two daughters to Daniel Victor & Deborah Ann (Dunlap) Sundquist. Desiree grew up in New Orleans, where she came to enjoy what the city is most known for, art, dancing and music, all with a jazz flair to it. She was a free-spirited and outgoing woman that was very much spontaneous. A loving sister, devoted mother and loyal friend, she will be fondly remembered and sadly missed from the short time she was with us. Desiree was preceded by her parents, Daniel and Deborah Sundquist.  Left to cherish her memories are: her only son, James O. Hester of Biloxi; her only sister, Santana Sundquist (Steven Mueller) and her niece McKenzie Mueller; her maternal grandparents, Charles and Anna Dunlap, along with numerous other extended family and friends. Her final wishes were to be cremated, which her family is honoring. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Sundquist family in their time of need and asks everyone to keep Santana and the rest of the family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
