A man of deep spiritual conviction, Dennis's passion for singing gospel music was a testament to his faith and an inspiration to all who heard his voice. His love for music was only matched by his love for the outdoors, where he could often be found tending to his horses or working on his beloved tractor. Dennis's connection to the land and the animals he cared for was a source of great peace and contentment for him. Dennis's life was rich with the love of his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 38 years, Lana Ladner Strahan, a loving father to his sons, Lance (Haley) Strahan and Tyler (Camryn) Strahan, and a doting grandfather to Kyler, Tayten, Harrison, and Piercen. His role as a patriarch was one he cherished deeply, and the lessons he imparted to his sons and grandchildren will remain as a legacy of his wisdom and kindness. Though he was preceded in death by his parents William (Bill) and Frances Hariel Strahan; brother, Vernon Strahan, Dennis's memory will be carried forward by his sisters, Linda (Todd) Smith and Anna (Steve) Hall; his sister-in-law Terri (Carlos) Cuevas and Jan (Heath) Smith; and his brother-in-law Craig Ladner. Dennis's presence will be deeply missed by his extended family and the many friends who had the privilege of knowing him. Dennis's life was one of service and generosity, always willing to lend a hand or share a word of encouragement. His ability to light up a room with his humor and warmth will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. Those who knew Dennis will recall a man who stood as a pillar of strength and a beacon of joy within his community.
