Dennis O'Neal Anderson

In loving memory of Mr. Dennis O'Neal Anderson, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend who was called to his eternal resting place on June 12, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on March 30, 1959, in Biloxi, MS, Dennis was a pillar of love and laughter in the lives of those who knew him.

Dennis lived a life marked by hard work and mastery of his trades, including his skilled hands in welding and his years of dedication as a semi-truck driver. His work ethic was only surpassed by his love for his family and his unwavering faith. As a devout christian, Dennis lived his faith through his actions and his compassionate heart. An avid outdoorsman, Dennis found joy in the simple pleasure in life- fishing in the quiet of dawn, hunting amidst the beauty of nature, and expressing his creativity through his art. Each of these passions reflected the depth and richness of his love for the world around him.

He is preceded by his parents Robert Lee Anderson Sr and Alice Odeal Lamey; his sister Rhonda Anderson. He leaves behind a bereaved family; his devoted wife of 38 years, Donna Anderson; his dear children, Kevin Anderson with his wife Suzanne, and Lisa Slocum; his siblings, Deborah Childress, Robert Lee Anderson Jr, Samuel Anderson with his with Sonjih, Lanette Sproles, Denise Boller with her husband Wayne, David Anderson, and Michelle Anderson; Along with his grandchildren, Lily Burleson, Jayson Anderson, Jayla Anderson, Joylyn Anderson, Jordyn Slocum, who will miss his guiding light and gentle spirit.

The family will receive friends and loved ones for services on Saturday June 15, 2024, 10am at Trinity Funeral Home in Mchenry, MS with the funeral starting at 11am and a graveside service to follow at Anderson Family Cemetery. We bid farewell to Dennis O'Neal Anderson, knowing that his legacy will continue to live on through the memories he has left behind and the impact he has made on each life he touched. May he rest in peace.
