Ms. Delois Mae Todd, 84 of Wiggins, passed Monday morning in Hattiesburg. Originally from Tennessee, she made her home in Gulfport for many years. For the past 15 or so, she has lived in Stone county. Delois was a very loving woman, who could also be stern and feisty when she needed to. Her favorite word was "ding bat", which she used as a term of endearment. She will be sadly missed by all of those she deemed as "ding bats", and everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Joyce Reed (Allan) of Brandon, MS, Terry Easter and Richie Easter, both of Brookhaven, MS, and Gloria Patrick (Allen) of Crystal Springs, MS; eight grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren, some nieces and nephews, and her beloved 4-legged child, Brittany. Delois was preceded in death by her husband Samuel D. Todd, sons Johnny Easter, Marty Joe Easter, and Darrell Todd, and a daughter, Lori Jean Saucier. The family has set her services to be held on Saturday, November 19th. Family and friends will gather for visitation beginning at 3 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 5 PM, all at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. She will be interred with her husband, Samuel D. Todd, who served in the US Navy during WWII, at Biloxi National Cemetery on Monday, November 21st in a private service. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist the family in their time of need.
