Ms. Deedri Ann Ward

Ms. Deedri Ann Ward, 60 of Wiggins, passed away Friday, March 1st in Hattiesburg. She was born Sept. 30, 1958 in Cooperstown, NY, one of six children to Jerry & Ruth (McBride) Davis, Sr. She grew up in Silver Creek, NY, and enjoyed music, singing, and was an avid reader. As a teenager, Deedri moved to Texas and spent some time there, before making her way to New Orleans, where she met her late husband, Larry Ward, Sr. She enjoyed caring for others, and decided to obtain her CNA certification, and worked in a nursing home for many years. For the past several years, Deedri has called Wiggins home. She maintained her passion for reading, and also loved playing games on her computer. An active member of North Hills Baptist Church, she was a caring, kind-hearted lady that will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service has been set for Sunday morning, March 10th at 11:00 AM, in the sanctuary of North Hills Baptist Church in Wiggins. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist the family in their time of need, and asks that everyone keep the Ward family in their thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
