Deanna (Starlene) Davis

Deanna Starlene Davis, 75 of McHenry, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, September 10 surrounded by her family. Deanna was born to Stanley Monroe and Mary “Irma” (Mills) Walker on February 19, 1945 in Beckly, West Viriginia. Deanna is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 42 years, James “Jim” Davis; son and daughter in law, Allen and Juanita Sheely; daughter and son in law, Sandra and David Wright; son and daughter in law, Steven and Beth Sheely; step son and daughter in law, Stephen and Melissa Davis; grandchildren, Marcus Wright, Andrew Bentz, Caleb Sheely, Ty Sheely, Amanda and Logan Smith and Ashley Harmony; great-grandchildren, Magan, Mason and Maisie Wright; great-great grandchild, Barrett Rushing; brothers and sisters in law, Monroe and Linda Walker and Lester and Cheryl Walker along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Deanna loved all the holiday and family gatherings. She truly looked forward to and believed that was what memories were made of. She especially loved seeing how much the grandbabies had grown. Deanna made a career bookkeeping because she loved numbers. She enjoyed spending time working in her yard even though she planted too many trees and plants! She like to jump on her lawnmower and cut grass to relax but she loved family time above everything else. Deanna was loved beyond measure and will be missed beyond words. A graveside service will be held at McHenry Gardens Cemetery, Saturday, September 12 at 10 am.
