Dawn Marie Nonenmacher

August 9, 1979 — May 4, 2020

LUMBERTON, MS

Dawn Marie Nonenmacher, 40 of Lumberton, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2020 at her home. She was the oldest of three children born to Robert and Sharon (Meloy) Nonenmacher on August 9, 1979 in Pensacola, FL. Dawn is preceded in death by her father, Robert and brother, Jason Nonenmacher; grandfathers, Roy Nonenmacher and David Meloy. She leaves behind to cherish her memory; her devoted mother, Sharon Nonenmacher; Her beloved brother, Sean Paul Nonenmacher and his fiancée, Adrienne Ivy; grandmothers, Alyce Colligan and Frances Nonenmacher; 3 nieces that she adored, Jocie, Kacie and Phoenix; a special cousin and friend, Blake Schnyder; Lisa- her sister from another mother and her children, Hannah and Brayden; along with extended family and friends. Dawn possessed a true talent for writing and was an accomplished published author of 6 books; Deceived, Undercover, A Case of Amnesia, The Criminal Cop, Piccolo’s Personal Case and Family Reunion. She will always be remembered for her radiant laugh, contagious smile and open heart. Dawn certainly had her share of loss during her 40 years from losing her father in ’04 to her brother in ’16 both to rectal cancer. Then in 2016, Dawn was diagnosed with the same thing. She had always been quiet but it was like something was a awakened in her. She found her voice and began to open up. She was a trooper and a fighter; never letting her diagnoses define her life but rather determined to make everything she did count. She was continuously thinking of others and trying to find a way to make a difference. And she achieved just that. From knitting cancer patients hats to being voted Camper of The Year by Camp Bluebird, Dawn proved that she did not have a selfish bone in her body. She was genuinely loved by everyone that knew her and will be missed beyond measure. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist the Nonenmacher family during this difficult time and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
