Mr. David Richard Walley Sr

David Richard Walley, Sr., 69 of Natchez, passed away at his residence last week. David was born June 28, 1949 in Raleigh, MS, the 3rd of 5 children to Pat and Ruth Walley. He grew up in Taylorsville, and after high school proudly served his country in the US Air Force from 1966 to 1972. Following his military service, he earned a degree from Mississippi State University . David was of the Baptist faith, and he made his career in, and retired from the MS public school system as a teacher and counselor. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all whos life he touched. David was preceded by his parents, James "Pat" and Ruth Margaret (Bliss) Walley and a nephew, Zeke Walley. He is survived by his son, David R. Walley, Jr.; brothers: Pete (Linda) Walley, Bobby Walley, Larry Walley, and a sister, Jenny Walley, along with other extended family members. Graveside services with military honors will be held Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at Natchez National Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Walley family in their time of need.
