David's passions extended beyond his professional life; he was an avid outdoorsman who found solace in hunting and fishing. Known for his skill in knitting cast nets, he cherished the moments spent surrounded by nature's beauty. David lived a full life, rich with love, expertise, and adventure. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy endures, an inspiring reminder of a life well-lived and the enduring bonds of family.
His memory will be eternally cherished and carries on through his family, with his parents David Jr and Ramona Geil preceding him in passing.
Married of four decades, David's heart belonged to his wife, Denise Geil. Together they raised two daughters, Jennifer, with her husband Grant Shropshire, and Ashley Geil. He leaves behind his brother VW Geil. The joy of David's latter years was magnified by his four grandchildren: Shelby Dupree, Payton Ladner, Harper Shropshire, and Ridley Kaul, all of whom brought him immeasurable happiness.
