David Lawrence Dubose, 69 and a resident of Lumberton, MS, passed away September 20th, 2021 at Ashbury Hospice in Hattiesburg, with family members present. David was a carpenter by trade and widely known as "the Cross Man". He was known for his work, his testimony and love for the Lord. David was a lifetime member of Oak Hill Pentecostal church in Poplarville, MS. He is fondly remembered as a loving father, grandfather, husband, brother, son and a trusted friend. David was preceded in death by his parents, father David Jacob Dubose and his mother Janie (Hartfield) Cooper; his brother Robert Dubose, and his sister, Sandra Dewease. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Glenda; three sons: Christopher, Ashley and Dustie Dubose; a daughter Tania (Thomas) Miller, with stepchildren Ryan (Andi) Courtney, Trina (Eric) Burge and Tonya (Reggie) Smith; his stepmother, Johnny B. Dubose, his stepfather, E.J. Cooper, and sisters Melanie Lott and Bobbie Ann Molsbee. David leaves a legacy of twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, with numerous extended family and countless friends. Services are set for Wednesday, September 22nd at Trinity Funeral Services' Lumberton location. Visitation begins at 11:00 AM, followed by a chapel service at 1:00 PM, with Bro. Tommy Jones officiating. Following the service, David will be laid to rest in the Rousefield Cemetery.
