Darryl Howard Bond

November 3, 1961 — July 1, 2019

Saucier, MS

Darryl Howard Bond, 57 of Saucier, passed away at Garden Park Hospital July 1st. Darryl was born November 3, 1961 in Poplarville, the youngest of three sons to Robert J. & Sarah (Fairley) Bond. A shy and reserved young man, he was always smiling no matter what. Maybe it was because he was the baby, and always getting his older brothers in trouble. He loved to hunt and fish, and eventually began making his own lures. Darryl went to work in the oil exploration field, and travelled quite a bit. He battled and defeated cancer, and had been cancer free for six months. He was a homebody according to his family, and a willing caretaker for his brother David until his passing. Darryl loved his family and brothers, and still owes Brent $20 today. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded by his brother, David Bond. Left to cherish his memories are: his parents, his father Robert James Bond, and his mother, Sarah F. Bond; his brother Brent (Linda) Bond, and his nephew, "Lil David" Bond, along with many friends and neighbors. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 3rd at Galilee Landmark Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, where Darryl will be laid to rest. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Bond family in their time of need, and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
