Darrell Dwayne Lizana

Darrell Dwayne Lizana, Sr., 42, passed away on August 22, 2022. He was born in Biloxi, MS on April 3, 1980 to Thomas and Eunice Lizana. Darrell was raised in Vancleave and received his GED from St. Martin Highschool in 2003. As a young man, he worked on oyster boats and even cleanup in the BP oil spill, later becoming a contractor and working construction on and off throughout his life. Darrell liked to have neighborhood bond fires, loved to sing, and was known to have a comedic personality. Though he did not care for other's opinions, he was sure to make his known. He was the family protector, showing bravery unless a spider was involved. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. Darrell is preceded by his loving wife, Teressa Lizana. He is survived by his son, Darrell (Gabrielle Marie Waits) Lizana Jr of Ocean Springs; daughter, Shania Lynn Lizana of Vancleave; parents, Eunice Lizana and Thomas Lizana of Vancleave; brothers, Robert Lizana and Keith (Amanda) Lizana; sister, Laura (James) Marucci; nephews, Seth Lizana, Michael Ross, Gabriel Steadman, and Brenton Marcucci; nieces, Avery Lizana and Alexandra Steadman.
