Daniel Raymond Holliman

Daniel Raymond Holliman, 67, of Gulfport, MS., passed away on February 9, 2026, at Driftwood Nursing Home in Gulfport, MS. Daniel was born on September 28, 1958, in Gulfport, MS to parents Avon Zachary and Helen Marie (Jones) Holliman. Daniel was the founder of Smile Publications and worked in real estate for many years. He also worked for the D.A.V. in Gulfport for many years as a bingo caller.  In his younger years, he enjoyed boating, fishing, and was a very good pool shooter. He loved his dogs, Koko and Hobo for seventeen years, and his newly acquired kitten Whiskey for two months. He was preceded by his precious wife Lori, his parents, Avon and Helen Holliman and siblings, Vonnie Holliman, Jerry Holliman, Donny Holliman and Eloise Holliman. The ones left to cherish his memories are his only child Joey Holliman from Stone County, MS, two sisters Rita Fisher, Jeanie Yocom with husband Brad all of Gulfport, MS. He also had a special friend Ed Stivers, that took him everywhere, including going to church. He had many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
