Dana Wayne Hilton

Dana Wayne Hilton, 55 of Saucier, passed away January 20, 2022 at Canon Hospice in Gulfport. He was born September 02, 1966 in Gulfport, the oldest of two boys to Claude Henry and Mary Alice (Ladner) Hilton. Dana grew up between New Orleans and South Mississippi, and enjoyed playing baseball and football, but his passion was hunting and fishing. He enjoyed fishing in both fresh and salt water, entering in many tournaments and winning several over the years. He attended West Jefferson and Harrison Central schools before entering the workforce. Dana has worked in a couple careers lines, including trimming trees, driving trucks, and welding, most recently for Environmental Construction in Pass Christian. He was the type to do whatever he needed to do to provide for his family. He was a loving husband and father that cared deeply for his family. Dana also had a heart the size of Texas and was more than willing to help anyone at any time. He enjoyed cooking, watching the Saints, and playing with his grandbabies. Dana was a Christian by faith and member at Lizana Baptist Church for many years. He will be forever loved and missed by all whose life he touched. He was preceded by his parents, Calude and Mary Alice Hilton. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving wife of 32 years, Angelique; their children, Drake (Samantha) Hilton of Dunkirk, OH, Cyndel (Louis) Summers of the Kiln, and Jocelynn Hilton of Saucier; his brother Brett (Kristi) Hilton of Jackson. He leaves a legacy of six grandchildren: Paisleigh, Corbin, Addlynn, Braxton, Colin and Grace, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Services will be held Thursday, January 27th Saucier Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at noon. Interment will follow at Galilee Landmark Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Saucier.
