Obituary

Curtis James Saucier, age 67, went to be with the Lord, leaving behind a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to his family. A true outdoorsman, Curtis found his peace and happiness outside—whether he was hunting, fishing, tending his garden, caring for his farm animals, or simply enjoying time in his yard. He had a free spirit that thrived in the open air and a deep appreciation for the simple things in life.

Curtis was a man with a good heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He believed in doing right by others and lived his life as an example of kindness and hard work. He was known for his quick wit, always cracking jokes, and his love for dancing—bringing smiles and laughter wherever he went. Being around Curtis meant good times, good stories, and a sense of comfort that only he could give.

Above all, Curtis loved his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loving grandfather and great-grandfather. He worked hard to provide for his family and took great pride in the life he built for them. Some of his happiest moments were spent camping with family and friends, surrounded by laughter, storytelling, and the people he cherished most. He valued those moments deeply and created memories that will live on for generations.

Curtis held to his old-fashioned Southern Baptist values, carrying his faith quietly in the way he lived, loved, and treated others. He was a man who believed in being good to people, and that is exactly how he will be remembered.

He is preceded in death by his son, Curtis “C.J.” Saucier Jr.; his parents, Verian James Saucier and Merle Saucier; and his siblings, Donna, Belinda, and Patricia.

Curtis is survived by his loving wife, Ella Saucier; his daughters, Michelle (Trent) Saucier and Angel (Billy) Saucier; his grandchildren, Blake Spencer, Khialey Saucier, Kierstin Saucier, Hunter Saucier, Katrin Saucier, Star Dahlgren, and William Dahlgren; and his great-grandchildren, Houston, William, and Ava. He is also survived by his siblings, Verian “V.J.” (Teresa) Saucier, Megan Saucier, Melissa Mitchell, Frank Saucier, Benny Saucier, and Vernon Saucier, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many beloved family and friends.

Curtis will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew him, especially those whose lives he touched with his kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for family. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Saucier Family and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.
