Crockett Lindsey Woodcock, aged 36, of Kiln, MS, passed away on the 4th of July, 2024, in Kiln, MS. Born on January 21, 1988, to Dale Ray Woodcock and Sonja Lee Grose Woodcock, Crockett was a beacon of laughter and enthusiasm throughout his life. Crockett was an alum of Peal River Community College, where he attained his Associates degree in HVAC and Welding. His professional skills were not just his livelihood but also his passion as he thrived in his career with integrity and a sense of pride in his craftsmanship. His work was an extension of his innate talent for repairing what was broken, a trait that was emblematic of his character. For those who knew him, Crockett was a source of joy and inspiration. He cherished staying young at heart, facing each day with ambition and set goals that he pursued with vigor. His wit was unmatched, and his ability to make everyone laugh will be warmly remembered. Above all, his children were the light of his life, bringing him immeasurable joy and purpose. His love for his family and friends was boundless and evident in his everyday actions. Crockett is preceded in death by his father, Dale Ray Woodcock; his mother, Sonja Lee Grose Woodcock; his grandfather, Huey P. Long Woodcock; his grandparents on his mothers side Clarence Blaine and Betty Jane Grose; his Uncles Joseph "Scottie" Woodcock, Edward Blaine Grose, Jessy Allen Grose, Zachary Kim Grose; and his Aunt Sandra Lynn Grose. His memory and legacy live on through his cherished family. Crockett is survived by his devoted grandmother, Jacqueline Mary Malley Woodcock; his loving wife, Kayla Marie Woodcock; his proud sons, Casey Tate(Tater Bug) Woodcock and Gabriel Michael(Bubby) Smith Jr.; his daughters, Tinley Jae(Monkey) Peterson and Gracie Malea(Lou) Smith; his sisters, Monica Sue Allen (Jimmy), Stephanie Michelle Ladner (Kenric), and Jennifer Lynn Scarmack; his brother, Huey P. Long Woodcock II(Ashley); his treasured Aunt and Uncle, April C. and Stephen Anthony Perkins, along with Aunt Sari Lou Grose, and Uncle Craig Shawn Grose; his siblings in heart, Stephen A. Perkins II (Little Tony), Karringten April Perkins, and Samuel Anthony Pierce Perkins; Uncle Timothy W. Woodcock(Denise), his loving mother-in-law Michele Lind Peterson, and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss his presence dearly. Crockett's zest for life and the love he shared will be missed deeply by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will continue to resonate through the lives of his children and the many people he touched with his generous spirit. Crockett Lindsey Woodcock will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished in our hearts.
