Craig Dewitt Ekermeyer

Craig Dewitt Ekermeyer passed away July 11, 2025, at the age of 76, in Stone County MS. As a longtime resident of Wiggins, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Never marrying or having children, Craig filled his days with hard work, and when the time presented itself, he was the full-time caregiver for his parents. A heart of gold, Craig will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Craig in preceded in death by his parents, Craig Simpson and Sarah Mozetta (Brown) Ekermeyer; and his brother, James Steven Ekermeyer. Craig is survived by his sister, Sarah Ekermeyer Wooley; and his two nephews, James Williams and Tim Tracy. Services for Craig will be held at a later date provided by his family.
