Connie Lott Carpenter

Connie Lott Carpenter, aged 73, of Gulfport, MS, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, in the same town where her life began on May 23, 1951. A resident of McHenry, Connie was a beloved figure in her community, cherished by all who knew her for her vibrant spirit and tenacious independence. Connie attended school at Gulfport High School. Her professional life was marked by her dedicated service as a Store Manager for Dollar General and as a Bookkeeper for Morgan and Lindsey. Not one to sit idle, she found joy and purpose in taking care of her home, tending to her beloved flowers, and fixing anything that needed repair. Her skillful hands and strong will left a legacy of love and resilience. Above all, Connie will be remembered as a remarkable and talented individual, who lived her life with determination and grace. Her unwavering spirit and the love she shared will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was the loving daughter of the late Jimmie Davis and Donnie Young Lott and shared her childhood with her twin sister, Donnie Ishee, who preceded her in death. Connie's steadfast presence will be profoundly missed by her devoted husband of 37 years, Gerry Carpenter. Her memory will forever be honored by her three brothers, Jimmie Jr. (Linda) Lott of Saucier, MS, Billy (LouAnn) Lott of Sevierville, TN, and Terry (Lynn) Lott of Vancleave, MS, as well as her sister, Beverly (Larry) Dollar of Diamondhead, MS.
