Clen Paul Cuevas, Jr. of Saucier, MS received his heavenly healing on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, surrounded by those who loved him. Clen was born on February 6, 1957, in Gulfport, MS to his parents, Clen and Geraldean (Cook) Cuevas, Sr. Clen spent most of his life on the road as a truck driver. Continuing a generational trade, Clen took pride in his work on the open road. When he wasn't driving a truck, he was out front in the Gulf, shrimpin. He loved eating seafood just as much as he loved catching it. Clen was either making you laugh or pissing you off. LOL! He loved to joke but he could gripe with the best of 'em. He didn't take no crap and he meant business when he was talking! There was hardly a time that you wouldn't catch Clen watching WWE and eating his beloved snack cakes. Clen did have a sensitive spot for his babies though, and he loved his grandbabies and his children! He always did all that he could for them despite the disabilities he was dealt in life. Clen had no problem telling you his body was tired and that he was ready to go home, where he would be reunited with his momma, who passed when he was just ten years old. Clen will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Clen is preceded in death by his parents, Clen and Geraldean (Cook) Cuevas, Sr.; one brother, Kenneth Cuevas; four sisters, Barbara Ridge, Clenda Pauline Greenwood, Donna Kay Cole, and Carolyn Ann Martin. Left to cherish his memory, his three daughters, Allison (Christopher) Campbell, Melissa (Malikye) Young, and Destiny (Holden) Braden; one son, Dimitri (Tori) Cuevas; one brother, Michael (Lela) Cuevas; and two sisters, Jeannie Shehorn and Janet Cuevas. Clen leaves a legacy of nine grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends whom he loved very much. Clen's wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. A memorial service will be held at a later date provided by the family. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Cuevas family and would ask that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers over the difficult days ahead.
