Chris Spencer Watson

Chris Spencer Watson, 38, of Terry, MS, passed away on February 11, 2023, in his home. Chris was born on January 20, 1985, in Jackson, MS to his parents Cecil and JoAnn (Hynum) Watson. Chris was a book smart kind of guy who excelled in computer software. He attended trade school through the local job core program. Chris loved gaming as well as cooking with his sister, Jessica. Together they perfected her blooming onion recipe, something his family will miss sharing with him. A "goof ball" at heart, Chris loved making everyone laugh with his quick wit and sarcasm. He loved watching scary movies and spending time with his nephews. Chris will be immensely missed by all who knew and loved him. Preceding him in death, are his parents, Cecil and JoAnn (Hynum) Watson; his birth mother, Jenny Emerson; one nephew Noah Scott Watson; and his uncle Glenn Stapp. Chris is survived by his sister Jessica (Adam) Holmes of Terry; his brother Paul (Brittany) Emerson of Richland; his nephews, Connor and Ryan; his nieces, Claire and Riley; his uncle Joey (Missy) Watson of Terry; his aunt, Nancy Stapp; and his birth father Chris Spencer. Services for Chris will be held at a later date provided by the family.
