Charles Jason Kott

Charles Jason "Charlie" Kott was born on August 6, 1970 and gained his wings on July 10, 2019 after a hard-fought battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.  Charlie was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Jefferson Parish for 42 years.  He resided in Kiln, MS for the last 6 years where he worked for the City of Diamondhead.  Charlie is preceded in death by his mother Patricia (Pat) Phillips Kott.  Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life of 23 years, Tammy Danos Braud and daughter Carlie Kott.  He is also survived by son Kevin (Tia) Braud, granddaughters Kamery and Chloe Braud, grandson Kaeci Braud, father Walter Kott, brother Christopher Kott, sister Helen Kott Spilberger, nephew Michael Chen, niece Sophie Spilberger and great-nephew Harrison Chen. Charlie, who was loved and will be missed by all that new him, loved to play pool, boil crawfish, and spend time with his family and friends.  He was an avid fan of the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
