Charles Wayne Donald

Charles Wayne Donald, Jr., 39 of Gulfport, passed away March 24, 2022. He was born was born May 07, 1982 in Toppenish, WA, the second of four children to Charles Wayne Donald, Sr. and the late Debra Lynn Deters Donald. He grew up in the Gulfport area and was known by most as Charlie or Chuck. An easy going kid, he enjoyed riding in the boat, fishing, cookouts and going on vacations. Charlie was always on the go and spent a lot of time with his friends. He attended Gulfport Schools, graduating with the Admiral's Class of 2000. After high school, he went to work with his father in the construction business where he worked with iron and steel. He is remembered as a loving, overly protective son and brother. Charlie lived a pretty much care-free life, and did his best to take care of his kids. If you saw him in a crowd, he was going to be the one standing out, making himself the center of attention. Charlie had a great sense of humor and worked to keep things lively for those around him. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Charlie was preceded by his mother, Debra Donald, his paternal grandmother, Lela Eley, and his uncle, Kenny Donald. Left to cherish his memories are: his three children, Caleb and Charley Donald of Gulfport, with Ellie Donald of Saucier; his father Charles Donald, Sr. of Gulfport, and his siblings: brothers Brandon Donald and Chaz Donald, both of Gulfport, and his sister Leslie (Michael) Augustine of Montgomery, AL. He leaves several extended family members, including a nephew, Blaedon Donald of Gulfport, his aunts, Peggy Ravoira of McHenry and Diane Malone, also of Gulfport, with his uncles, Danny (Virginia) Donald, also of Gulfport, and Joey Eley of Saucier, along with many friends. A private graveside service will be held later. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Donald family in their time of need, and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers through this trying time.
