Charles “Charlie” Everett Barber, age 67, passed away on October 5, 2022, at Memorial Hospital Stone County. Charlie was born on November 23, 1954, in Gulfport, Mississippi to T.B. and Nell (Kelley) Barber. Charlie was kind, loving and had a great sense humor. He could literally talk and make friends with anyone, anywhere. Charlie loved all people, making lifelong friends all around the world while working for the Keystone Pipeline. Charlie's light heart, compassion, and wisdom left a positive impact on everyone he knew. He loved traveling and spending time with his family, friends, and his dog, Sassy. He was a beloved husband, great father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and loyal friend to many. Charlie's spirit will live on through those who loved him as well as miss him immensely. He is preceded in death by his parents, T.B. and Nell Barber; and one grandson, Bryce Ruff. Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 45 years, Marion Barber of Perkinston; his children, Heath (Amy) Barber of Perkinston, Rebecca Bull of Petal, and Cindy (Paul) Ruff of Hattiesburg. Charlie leaves a legacy of eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
