Ms. Cathy Mullins

Cathy Mullins, 60 of Kiln, passed away peacefully Saturday evening. Cathy was born in Atmore, AL on August 8, 1957, the daughter of Lewis G. & Sarah Stewart, Sr. She lived most of her life in the Helena community in Jackson county, and was an avid, life-long Saints fan. Cathy enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, and is remembered as a loving mother and sister. Cathy was loved in the community, and will forever be remembered as a selfless, caring, and loving woman. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded by her parents, a sister, Terry L. Bosarge. Left to cherish her memories are her children: Donnie R. Mullins, Jr., Christopher (Lisa) Mullins, Nicole Lee, Jesse (Erin) Mullins, and Michael Mullins; her brothers, Lewis Stewart, Jr and James D. Stewart, Sr., and her sister Ruthie (Andy) Smith; six grandchildren: Christopher (Val) Mullins, Becca (Nick) Mullins, Ashley (David) Mullins, Morgan (Andrew) Mullins, Dustin Mullins, and Jacob Mullins, and six great-grands as well, along with a very large family of adopted kids, lost boys, friends, and extended family. Cathy's whishes were to be cremated, which her family is honoring. Her ashes will be scattered at her favorite fishing hole by her family at a later date.
