Cathy Jean (Landry) Quinn

Cathy Jean Landry Quinn, a long time resident of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on November 11, 2021. She was 56 years old. Cathy was born in Wharton Texas to Purvis Ray and Ernestine Landry on June 6, 1956.Cathy was a loving and caring person that opened her arms to everyone. In her spare time, Cathy enjoyed fishing, painting, drawing, but most of all spending time with her family. Cathy was a loving mother who took great pride in her family. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by all. Mrs. Quinn is survived by her children, John Quinn of Gulfport, MS, Rachel(Jeffery) Newbury of Gulfport, MS, and Adam Albrecht of Breaux Bridge, LA; and grandchildren, Jacob Mason Quinn, Julya Hanson, Hayden Gager, and Jeffery Newbury. Cathy is also survived by her siblings, Debbie (Roy) Fortenberry, Marcella Spinnato, Peter (Sabrina) Landry and sister-in-law MaryEllen (Joseph "Joby") Landry and numerous nieces and nephews. Cathy is preceded by her parents, Purvis Ray and Ernestine Landry; her brothers, Derril Canon, Joseph "Joby" Landry, and her sister, Susan Landry Powell. Family visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. and public visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 at St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport on Tuesday November 16, 2021. The funeral mass will begin at 11:00. Internment will be in Wharton, Texas at a later date. Trinity Funeral Services are entrusted with the arrangements.
