Mr. Carl Lee Roark, Sr, 63 of Perkinston, passed away Saturday morning, May 14th, 2016, in Wiggins. Mr. Roark was a retired general contractor, originally from Davy, West Virginia. For the past 11 years or so, he has called Perkinston home. He so enjoyed life, and was one of those people who had to stay busy with something. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Sue, and their 7 children: 6 sons - Carl Lee Roark, Jr. (Tracy), also of Perkinston; Jeffery Alan Roark (Phyllis) of Roanoke, VA; twin sons, Jason Douglas Roark (Kelly) of Sandersville, MS, and Timothy Wayne Roark (Choni) of Florida; Christopher Fowler (Jessica) of Gulfport, and Nicolas Fowler of Mobile, AL; and 1 daughter, Crystal Fowler of Ocean Springs. He did not have any siblings, but 6 brothers-in-law that considered him their brother, Alton Richard (Wendy), George Richard (Bonnie), and Lester Richard, all of Ocean Springs, and Michael Richard (Cathy), and Bruce Richard, all of Wiggins; 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Roark was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Mickers and Betty Blakenship Roark of Welch, West Virginia. His desire was to be cremated, and Trinity Funeral Services of McHenry assisted the family with his arrangements.
