Carl Michael Jackson

Carl Michael Jackson, 73, went home to be with the Lord, his  parents, Mr. & Mrs. Carl O. Jackson, sisters Sherry Ann Cuevas (Jackson) and Debra Lynn Franklin (Jackson). He left us peacefully at his Saucier home, while surrounded by family. Mike was born in Sebastopol, MS on January 3, 1949. A native of MS, he spent most of his life in Northport, AL. Mike was a member of Northport Church of God before returning to MS in 2012. He then became a member of  Extended Hands Assembly of God. He is survived by his uncle, Andrew Jackson (Faye), nieces and nephews; Crystal Burke (William), Amber Ladner (James), Thoefield Cuevas III (Bo), Brandon Cuevas (Merissha), and Larry Scott Franklin, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Mike was autistic and never left the care of his parents. After their passing he fell under the care of his niece Amber Ladner and nephew Scott Franklin. Mike had three loves in his life. Number one was God and Jesus Christ. Mike was a soldier of God and a true Prayer Warrior. He knew and was always so excited to talk about going to Heaven and he wanted everyone to go with him. His second love was family and friends. Mike had a smile to light up a room, a warm personality and loved paying compliments to everyone. His third love was superheroes. When he wasn't watching Bible programs or live church services, he was watching superhero movies and shows, with The Incredible Hulk being his favorite. Mike will be forever loved and missed by all whose life he touched. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Extended Hands Assembly of God, with the funeral service to follow at 11:30. Afterward, Mike will be retirned to Northport, AL for interment at Sunset Memorial Park beside his parents.
