Bridgette Ladner, fondly known as "The Princess," peacefully passed away on February 3, 2024. She was the cherished matriarch of her family, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength. Bridgette possessed a remarkable sense of humor and a vivacious personality that lit up every room she entered. Affectionately called "Sassy Britches," she had a unique ability to find humor in every situation and spread joy wherever she went. She had a passion for life's simple pleasures, finding joy in dancing, playing bingo, and watching football. Bridgette's kitchen was a place of magic, where she delighted her loved ones with her famous French toast and noodle salad. Family meant the world to Bridgette, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, from attending sports events with her children to spoiling her grandchildren with love and affection. She also had a sweet tooth and a love for dining at Shaw's Fish House, where she enjoyed delicious meals surrounded by family. Bridgette's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, her love and laughter echoing in the memories of those she touched. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many, she will be missed dearly. Bridgette is preceded by her loving husband, Vernon Dale Ladner; mother, Ruth Marie Hoda; brothers, Anthony Joseph Hoda and Byron “Buddy” Hoda; and her beloved friends, Timmy Seals and Joyce Ladner. Bridgette is survived by her loving children, Brandy (Scott) Seals and Justin (Elizabeth) Ladner; grandchildren, Ryleigh (Cody) Entrekin, Dalena Seal, Eli Ladner, and Jaelin Ladner; father, Charles Hoda Jr.; siblings, Rhonda (Ricky) Dedeaux, Desmond (Freda) Hoda, Casey (Kara) Hoda, and Tosha (Michael) Lee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
