Brian Lee Shea

March 9, 1959 — October 24, 2019

Saucier, MS

Brian Lee Shea, 60 of Saucier, passed away Thursday at his home. Brian was born March 9, 1959 in Fairbanks, Alaska, the middle of three children to Gerald Edward & Nancy Lee (Hinton) Shea. He grew up in the Lizana community, loving the outdoors and horses. Brian also played basketball, and got into drag racing along the way as well. He ran timed events on horseback and loved to go mud riding whenever he could. Brian enjoyed mechanicing on cars and after high school, went to work as a mechanic for many years. He found his way into trucking, and drove for many years also. "There are many things that could be said of Brian." recalls those closest to him, but the one thing that keeps coming up was "stubbornly hard-headed". He was definitely set in his ways, and few could ever change his mind, but he was always there if you needed him. A "pretty good kid" growing up, Brian is described as a selfless and giving man to all. A loving son, father and grandfather, brother, uncle, and at times, a pain in the butt, he will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who's life he touched. He was preceded by his mother, Nancy L. Shea, and his chiweenie daughter "Rosie". Left to cherish his memories are: his two sons, Matthew (Ashley) Shea and Robert (Danielle) Harrison, Jr.; seven grandchildren: Paislee, Kinlee, William, Calvin, Lex, Robert Jr. and Natalie; his father, Gerald Shea; two brothers Bruce (Claire) & Bradley (Tammie) Shea; six nieces: Michelle, Tabathia, April, Christie, Lacey and Cotey; one nephew Michael; his beagle-mix son "Papa", with multiple extended family and friends. The family has set visitation for Monday evening, October 28th from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Brian's wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Shea family in their time of need, and asks that everyone keep the family in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
