Bret Alan Stanford

Bret Alan Stanford, age forever young at heart, of Wiggins, passed away after a brief illness on April 28, 2019 in Hattiesburg, MS. Bret was born in Memphis, TN on July 13, 1976 to Debra Jean and Billy Ed Stanford. Land surveyor for over 20 years and semi-truck driver, Bret loved to travel, bowl, write poetry and sing karaoke with his wife of 5 years, Diane, And of course, he was better! Friends will remember him for his warped sense of humor, spontaneity and living life to the fullest. It took a lot to get on his bad side but watch out if you did! There was never a dull moment around Bret. The party always started when he got there. He truly will be missed by all who knew him. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Debra Jean and Billy Ed Stanford. Bret is survived by his wife, Diane Stanford of Wiggins, MS; ex-wife, Candi Arnold of Paris, TN; son, Jonathan Lee Landrum-Stanford and daughter, Brittney Leighann Stanford both of Paris, TN; step-daughter, April Nicole Harris of Bay St. Louis, MS and sister, Jeana Maxine Stanford of Goodlettsville, TN.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
