Brenda Joyce Holloway

Brenda Joyce "Dudette" Holloway, 62 years old, born August 17, 1963 passed away December 23, 2025 in her hometown of the Brooklyn/Carnes Community at the home of her loving friend Betty "Booboo" Ford surrounded by family and friends.

Brenda will be remembered for her strong willed personality, her love for her husband of forty years Darol "Dude", the love she had for her children, and her love of strays, two legged and four. Brenda had a business degree and over her life tried her hand at many professions. From Stone County Corrections Officer, secretary, to office manager, plus much more, but her first priorities were being a wife, mother, and grandmother. 

Brenda is preceded in death by her loving husband Darol "Dude" Holloway I, her parents Ray and Lucy Harris, her brother James Harris, one brother-in-law Mike Holloway, her father/mother-in-law William and Evelyn Holloway, and four uncles with one aunt, Elbert and Mary Harris, Tommy, Roger, and Billy Mitchell, and one cousin Gayle Simmons. 

Brenda is survived by four children, Tashana (William) Butler, Darol (Ashley) Holloway, Suzzie (Stephen) Lee, and Jessie Holley "Holloway". One sister Kimberly Harris. One cousin Butch (Judy) Harris. One sister-in-law Rose Holloway. Several nieces and nephews and seventeen grandkids. Dillan Holloway, Jeremy Bosarge, BrendaAnn "Luna" (Elijah) Corrothers, Patrick Bosarge, William Jr., Trindey, and Leona Butler, Jace and Aiden Herrin, Kaydence, Aleah, Darol III, Piper, and Penelope Holloway, Angel "Alex" Holloway, Travis Cunningham, and Dalton "Michael" Holley. Five great grandkids. Athena, Dillan II, Riku, Tidus, and Christopher Holloway.

 On behalf of Brenda's children, we would like to give a special thank you to the four beautiful women who opened their home to our mother, her long time friend Betty "Boo Boo" Ford, Tiffany (Brandon, Piper) Bond, Ruthy (Richard) Rolkosky, and Vivian (Justin) Ford. These women made it possible for our mother's last wishes to be met by passing away not in a hospital but in a loving home in her home town. Thank you once more to our extended family for giving us one last holiday with our mama. Also a special thank you to Jessie Holley "Holloway" and Shannon Burkhalter for all your help in the hospital. Our mother would be grateful to all of you for everything everyone did for her. 

A visitation will be held at Trinity Funeral Services on Friday January 9th beginning at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. 

Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery in Wiggins.
