Braxton Kaden Lewis Vance

It is with a heavy heart, that we announce the passing of our sweet baby boy, Braxton Kaden Lewis Vance, who peacefully returned to the arms of Jesus on April 7, 2023, at Children's Hospital of New Orleans. Braxton was born on January 25, 2023, to his loving parents Patrick James Vance and Sara Helen Moffett in Biloxi, MS. Our sweet baby boy captivated our hearts with his sweet smile and gentle touch from the first time we held him in our arms. We will forever cherish the precious moments we shared with Braxton, from cuddling during late-night feedings to watching him reach tiny milestones every day. Our loving memories of Braxton will remain etched in our hearts forever. Braxton is preceded in death by his grandfather James Spooner, Uncle Scott Bryant, great-grandmother Rachel Hicks, great-grandmother Letha Melvin, Uncle Joe Hicks, Aunt Linda Mobley, and cousin Star Delancey. Left to cherish his memories are his loving parents, Sara Moffett and Patrick Vance; his brothers and sisters, David (Lilly), Cody, and Constance Loper all of Lucedale, Brian and Brycen Padgett both of Gulfport, Madison and Macie Vance both of Gulfport; Aunts and Uncles Victoria (James) O'Neal of Mobile, Rachel (Daniel) Shanahan of Perkinston, Theresa Watson of Gulfport, Rhonda Bryant of Saucier, Alice (David) Simpson of Wiggins, Tamara (Rocky) Ryan of Wiggins, Cathy (Daniel) Olier of Saucier, Angela (Paul) Delancey of Gulfport, David (Kaitlyn) Scarbrough of Wiggins, Robert (Leslie) Hicks of Gulfport, Dennis Mobley, and Billy Joe Scarborough of Gulfport; nieces and nephews Kai Moore, Unity Loper, and Lane Loper; Great-grandfather Patrick Buras; Great-grandmother Linda Moran of Gulfport; Grandparents Sandra Spooner, David Scarbrough, Tammy Vance, Calvin Collier, and Jack Perronne; as well as numerous cousins and friends who loved him. Although Braxton's life was brief, he touched the lives of everyone who met him with his innocence, love, and joy.  Services for Braxton will be held Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry beginning with a Visitation at 11:00 am for extended family and friends, followed by a funeral service at noon with interment to follow.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Vance family in their time of need and asks that you remember Sara, Patrick, and the rest of Braxton's family in their time of need.
