Obituary

Brandon Ryan Donald, age 39, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on June 9, 2026. He was born on June 19, 1986, in Gulfport to Charles Wayne Donald, Sr. and the late Debra Lynn Donald.

Brandon was the third of four children and spent his childhood and much of his life in the Gulfport area. From an early age, he was known for his easygoing personality and adventurous spirit. He enjoyed spending time on the water, riding in boats, fishing, attending cookouts, traveling, and making memories with family and friends. Always on the go, Brandon cherished the friendships he built throughout his life and rarely met a stranger.

He attended Gulfport schools and proudly graduated with the Gulfport High School Red Rebels Class of 2004. Following graduation, he furthered his education in Orlando, Florida, before returning home to Gulfport in 2005. Upon his return, he joined his father in the construction industry, working with iron and steel. He later worked as a marine electrician, contributing his skills to projects involving United States military vessels.

Above all, Brandon will be remembered for the love he had for his family. He was a caring and devoted son, a protective brother, and a proud father who did his best to provide for and support his son. Brandon possessed a larger-than-life personality and had a way of making his presence known wherever he went. If he walked into a room, people noticed. His quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and ability to keep those around him laughing made him the center of many cherished memories.

Though he lived life on his own terms, Brandon's generous heart, loyalty to those he loved, and unforgettable personality left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

Brandon was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Debra Lynn Donald; his brother, Charles Wayne Donald, Jr.; his paternal grandmother, Lela Eley; and his uncle, Kenny Donald.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Blaedon Donald; Blaedon's mother, Victoria Hawking; his father, Charles Wayne Donald, Sr.; his brother, Chazz Donald, Sr.; his sister, Leslie Donald Augustine; his uncle, Danny Donald; his nieces, Charley Donald and Ellie Donald; his nephew, Caleb Donald; his uncle, Joseph Eley, Sr.; his aunt, Theresa Donald-Doherty; as well as numerous extended family members and many dear friends.
