Gulfport

Bonnie Lynne Allen, of Gulfport, MS, a faithful servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on February 12, 2025, at the age of 65. Bonnie was born on March 18, 1959, to her parents, Russell and Arlean (Skinner) Allen in Gulfport. Bonnie trusted Jesus as her Savior at the age of 12, dedicating her life to serving Him with love and grace. She had an unforgettable, contagious laugh that brightened the lives of everyone she met, and her outgoing nature meant she never met a stranger. Bonnie's heart was one of service—she was a loving mother, dedicated to raising her children with care and devotion. The home she created was always warm and welcoming, with tidy rooms and delicious meals that reflected her nurturing spirit. Bonnie's love for Christ extended through her involvement in her church, Faith Baptist Church, where she found joy in fellowship and service. Her family and friends will forever cherish her loving presence, and the joy she brought to those around her. Bonnie is now at home in Heaven, resting in the arms of her Savior, and reunited by her parents, Russell and Arlean Allen; and one sister, Dorothy Alexander. Left to cherish her love and laughter, her son, Dale (Chrissy) Moran of Rosalia, KS; two daughters, Deidre (Bobby) Stanfield of Picayune, MS, and Tara (Nick) Fox of Saucier, MS; eight grandchildren, Lane (Montana) Moran, Coy Moran, Nathan McLendon, Laila Stanfield, Trent Fox, Trevin Fox, Titus Fox, and Natalyn Fox; two great-grandchildren; Remington McLendon, and soon to be, Baby Boy Becker Moran; two sisters, Karen Penton and Roleen (Red) Hardin; and two brothers, David Allen and Darryn (Lisa) Allen; Bonnie leaves a legacy of numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends whom she loved very much. Services for Ms. Bonnie will be held Monday, February 17, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM for a visitation and 12:00 Noon for a Funeral Service at Faith Baptist Church in Gulfport. Following the service, Ms. Bonnie will be laid to rest in Allen Family Cemetery in Long Beach. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
