Mr. Bobby Joe Peel, 84 of Bendale, passed away Sunday in Ocean Springs. Bobby was born in Brooklyn, MS on July 5, 1934, and grew up a typical South MS country boy. He enjoyed the outdoors and related things such as hunting and fishing. Following high school, Bobby served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1953 until 1956, spending some time overseas in Korea. After his discharge, he settled in the Latimer community for several years, and eventually moved to Bendale. In his career, he has worked in the logging industry as a custodian, and in the public schools. Bobby is remembered as a kind man who would help anybody, any time. A loving father and grandfather, he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Linda Lou (Sumrall) Peel; his children: sons Wendell (Cheryl) Peel and Jamey (Sabrina) Peel, both of Vancleave, and daughters Genie (Mitchell) Holder and Leona (Joe) Fairley, both of Bendale; a sister, Doris Hill, and a brother, Tony Perkins; nine grandchildren: Jessie, Robbie, and Seth Peel, Colien and Aniyah Holder, and Blake, Hattie, Millie & Owen Fairley, along with several extended family and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 30th at Riverside Full Gospel Church in Bendale, followed by the funeral service at noon. Interment will be at the Havard Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Peel family, and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
