She was born to the late Joseph Monroe and Lucille Trehern Redding on March 7, 1939, in Gulfport, MS. where she attended school and graduated from Gulfport High School in 1957. She was married to the late James “Jimmy” Marco Woodyard Jr. in 1956. They were married for 64 years, with a love and devotion that one could only admire.
Bobbi joins her loving husband, Jimmy, and the center of her heart, her Grandson, Patrick, along with her parents, family, and friends, she is reunited with open arms joining them in heaven to be with the Lord.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lucille Redding, Brother Joseph (Bunsie) Redding, newborn sister Redding, Husband, James Marco Woodyard Jr., Grandson Patrick Anthony Lee, Sister-in-law, Barbara Redding, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Alfred and Kenneth Moore, Sister and Brother-in-law, Fred, and Emily Thompson.

Family and faith were the center of her life. She created a beautiful home life for Jimmy and Donna and enjoyed relaxing outings at the family Lakehouse. As she loved the Lord, she lived her life as an example with strong Christian faith, and dedication to prayer and worship. She was ready for her next journey and to reunite with loved ones she missed so dearly.
Besides cooking, homemaking, crafts, and decorating her home, she cherished her friendships with the “out to lunch bunch ladies,” Gloria, Sandy, Jenni, Iantha, Sheryl, and Marilyn.
For many years she worked as Donna’s administrative assistant for her business. They enjoyed market trips and the time they spent together during the workday. She spent most of her time spoiling her dog, Charlie, who brought her great companionship.
She was cared for at home by her family and loving caregivers, Donna Dykes, Shirley Ross, Janell Ladner, Janell Wilson, and Emma Privette. She was cared for with love and affection, the way she so easily did for all of us.
Donna would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her employees, Adrienne Wilkerson Thompson, Jack Wellman, and Bobby Harwell for their endless support for the last 5 years of “Daisy” honey-dos, errands, home repairs, and for helping Donna to be able to personally care for her mom.
Her daughter Donna, family, and friends will miss her dearly, but know she is walking with the Lord and singing praise of what a glorious place to be!
Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Woodyard Family and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.
