Blaine Anthony
Bordelon, Sr.
March 18, 1956 – March 22, 2026
Blaine Anthony Bordelon, Sr., 70, of St. Bernard Parish, was reunited with his beloved wife on March 22, 2026, in Kiln, MS.
Blaine was born on March 18, 1956, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Murphy and Lula (Gaspard) Bordelon, the second youngest of nine children. From a young age, Blaine had a love for the simple joys in life—fishing, being outdoors, and the peaceful moments found on the water. No matter where he went, a fishing rod in hand brought him comfort and joy.
He also loved his horse, Sunny, and the thrill of horse racing. Blaine’s heart was as big as his passions, and he had a warmth that made everyone feel welcome. He never met a stranger, and those who knew him felt his genuine kindness immediately. Family gatherings were always brighter with Blaine around, filled with laughter, music, and stories that brought everyone together.
Music was his constant companion, often playing loudly from his camper as he took in the beauty around him. But above all, Blaine’s greatest love was his wife of twenty-six years, Barbara, affectionately known as Tootsie. She was his anchor, his home, and the center of every story he shared. The past thirteen years without Tootsie and his son Byron, lovingly called Boogie, were never the same, and his family takes comfort in knowing they are finally reunited.
Blaine is preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara (Allemand) Bordelon; his son, Byron Bordelon; his granddaughter, Bridget Allen; his sister, Dorothy Tortomase; and his brothers, Alvin, Billy, Daniel, Robert, and Roy Bordelon.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Blaine (Della) Bordelon, Jr.; Brandie (Derek) Ryser; Bernice Bordelon; Brian (Christy) Allemand; and Brenda Bordelon. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren—Blaine III, Bryce, Brenda, Cody, Christifer, Brittnee, Justin, Greyson, Brieanna, Trysten, Byron, Haley, Felicity, Brian, Jr., Avery, Kristyana, Khloe, Ilise, and Iceis; seven great-grandchildren—Emmy, Dawson, Brayden, Barrett, Amelia, Atlas, and Waylon; his brother, Sam Bordelon; his sister, Denise Bordelon; and two dear friends who were like family to him: Bryan Riche, who was very important in his life, and Junior Rayborn, a lifelong friend since the age of fifteen.
Blaine’s love extended far beyond his immediate family. He leaves a legacy of warmth, laughter, and kindness among nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends who will miss him deeply. He had a rare gift of making people feel valued, seen, and loved, and those who knew him carry a piece of his spirit with them.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at his son Blaine’s home, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continuing throughout the day. Friends and family are invited to share stories, music, and memories as we honor a life well-lived and a man who loved deeply and lived fully. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Bordelon family and we ask that remember them all in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
