Billy Frank Davis

February 3, 1977 — June 4, 2021

Long Beach

Billy Frank Davis, 44, of Long Beach passed away June 4, 2021 at his home. He was born February 3, 1977 to Wyatt, Jr. and Joyce Davis. He is preceded by his mother, Joyce Davis. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Meredith Davis; his father, Wyatt Davis, Jr.; his children, Keely Davis, Wyatt Davis III, and Ameila Davis; his siblings, Jeffery (Angela) Davis, and Josh Davis, Andrew (Laurel) Cospelich, ,Robert (Priscilla) Cospelich, and Jennifer Cospelich. Billy or “Billy Frank” as many friends and family knew him, was a very kindhearted man. He would go out of his way to give you the shirt off his back whether he knew you or not. He had a contagious smile and could make anyone laugh with his jokes and silly demeanor. Billy always remembered to look at life in a different way and enjoy it in an extraordinary way. A lot of people will remember Billy as a phenomenal musician and could play almost anything from the bass guitar to the drums, but he mostly played his guitar. He worked at Mississippi Music for many years teaching people of all ages to play guitar. While at Mississippi Music, Billy was also a brass smith and repaired brass instruments which is almost a lost trade today. Billy was always happy sharing his love of music with others. He also loved being outside whether it was hunting, fishing, and piddling with one of his projects outside, but his favorite was being on the water. After many years of studying and getting some experience, Billy Frank became a boat captain. Billy Frank was a guy who will never be forgotten and always be loved. A memorial will be held Saturday June 26 at 11:00 AM Faith Baptist Church in Gulfport on Canal. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for funeral expenses through a GoFundMe account https://gofund.me/840ae935 .
