Beulah Mae Scarbrough Shade, 74, passed away in her home on September 6, 2022, in Long Beach, MS. She was born on August 18, 1948, in Wiggins MS to the late Rena Mae Brown and Jesse Scarborough. She was baptized at an early age and attended New Green Valley Baptist Church in Wiggins for many years and attended Locker High School in Wiggins. Beulah married the late Ben Alford Shade in which they had twelve children. Beulah was a homemaker, and her pride and joy was caring for family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rena Mae Brown Hill Scarbrough Terrell; father, Jesse Scarbrough; one daughter, Jessica Lotorie Shade-Johnson, and 12 siblings. Left to Cherish Beulah’s memories are her eleven children; three Daughters, Wendy (Melvin) Shade Slaton, Kathryn (Timothy) Shade Cooley of Pass Christian, MS, Tammy (Huddy) Shade of Long Beach, MS; eight sons, Malcolm (Barbara) Shade, Willie (Tina) Shade, Rick Shade, Robin (Rose) Shade, Anthony Shade all of Wiggins; Johnny (Veronica) Shade, John Shade, and Don Shade all of Gulfport, MS; one son-in Law, Fred Johnson of Foley, AL; one very special niece, Ella Steen Williams of Nacogdoches, TX; eight special grandsons, Tyrone Shade, Tyrell Shade, James Shade all of Long Beach, MS, Sammie Shade of Atlanta, GA, Mario Shade and Nate Jackson of Wiggins, MS, Justin Shade of Gulfport, MS; three special granddaughters, Dominique Shade and Wendalyn Shade of Gulfport, MS, Tyshiana Williams of Long Beach, MS; sisters, Mary Katherine Rhodes of Wiggins, MS and Lottie Griffin of California; and one close friend Ms. Dorothy Kelly of Gulfport, MS; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
