Mr. Berry Dale Faulk Sr

Mr. Berry Dale Faulk, Sr., 64 of Gulfport, passed away at his residence on Wednesday morning, July 12th. Berry was born August 6, 1952 in Mobile, AL to Wilson and Opal Faulk. He grew up mostly on "the point" in Biloxi, and developed a passion for motorcycles and boating. Berry loved to be out on the water, or riding around anywhere really. That is evident in his love to travel, as he has lived in many states, including AL, AK, CA, WA, IA, TX, and MS, just to name a few. Berry was good with his hands, and made a career as a carpenter, working in construction most of his life. He will be fondly remembered as a "headstrong" man who was a loving father, husband, and grandfather that dearly enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Berry is survived by his wife, Abby; his children, daughters Catherine (Ralph) Jones of Biloxi, Carrie (Cedric) Ladner of Pass Christian, and Lisa Faulk of Gulfport; his sons, Berry Faulk Jr., and Shoen (Tina) Faulk, both of Pass Christian, and Russell Faulk of Gulfport; his sisters, Jewel Faulk of NY and Eunice Joyner of S.C.; brothers Herman Moore of TX, Jerry Faulk of Mobile, AL, and James Faulk of S.C.; nine grandchildren, 3 great-grands, and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was preceded by his father, Wilson Asberry Faulk; his mother, Opal Horton Dean; and a step-mother, Louise Faulk, and his grandson, Shane Michael Moore. His wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. Memorial services are set for Saturday, July 15th, beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at noon, all at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Trinity is honored to serve the Faulk family in their time of need.
