Bernetta Gloria (Smith) Phaneuf

Former Baltimore, MD resident Bernetta Gloria "Nettie" Phaneuf died September 28, 2020 in Ocean Springs, MS. She was born May 20, 1951 in Baltimore, the daughter of Redford E. and June Priscilla (Stewart) Smith. Nettie worked for Bethlehem Steel Mill from 1974 until 2002, becoming the first female steel roller at that location. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all whose life she touched. Nettie was preceded by her parents. Left to cherish her memories are: her daughter Gloria (Greg) Brightbill of Baltimore, and her son, Ronald A. Harris of Ocean Springs; her brother Donald Buettner, Sr.; her grandson Tyler J. Dominiak, with a soon-to-be great-grandson, Saylor J. Dominiak.
