Aubrey Lee Locke

Mr. Aubrey Lee Locke, 61 of Water Valley, passed away Friday, January 24th. He was born March 21, 1958 in Little Rock, AR, the son of Richard Franklin & Norma Lee (Cochran) Locke, Jr. Aubrey grew up all across the Southeastern US, as his parents managed Holiday Inn hotels, spending most of his time in Nashville, TN and Marietta, GA. He joined the US Navy out of high school, spending most of his service aboard guided missile cruisers. Aubrey enjoyed reading and his computer, plaing games and watching movies. He has an extensive collection of music CDs and movies on DVDs, spanning several genres. He is remembered as a private and reserved man who was easy going. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Aubrey was preceded by his parents, Richard & Norma Locke, a brother, Boyd Ford, and grandparents Charles "Summer" and Carrie (Norris) Cochran. Left to cherish his memories are: his sister Elissa (Kyle) Vermilion of Humble, TX, and a brother, Richard F. Locke, III of Houston, TX, along with his cousin and roommate for the past 20 years, Summer Jones of Water Valley.
