She was the proud and devoted mother to her beloved children: Samuel Glen Lumpkin, Summer Elise, Sadie Marie, Shelton Emile, John Alan "JayJay" Zimmerman, and Angeliah Roxanne. Ashton's role as a mother was the most cherished aspect of her life, and she embraced every moment with joy and pride. Ashton's spirit was characterized by her constant desire to be on the move. She was a free bird, whose beautiful eyes mirrored the sweet spirit within. Her big heart and innate desire to help others led her to countless acts of kindness, often putting the needs of others before her own.
