Mr. Arnette Glen Ladner

Mr. Arnette Glen Ladner, 75 of Saucier, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16th in Gulfport. Arnette was born Sept. 4, 1943 in Gulfport, and grew up there as well. He was a very bright young man that was talkative and outgoing. He graduated from Gulfport High School as valedictorian of his class, and obtained his Associates degree in business from MGCCC. A genuine entrepreneur, Arnette was always business minded. He formed Consolidated Buyers Club, and dabbled in many things over his career, including insurance, solar panels, vinyl siding and windows, skylights, and much more. He was an accomplished salesman, one who could actually sell ice cubes to Eskimos! With all that, Arnette was a loving, giving person with a good spirit about him, and loved kids though he had none of his own. He always had advice for most any topic, whether you wanted it or not. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded by his parents, Niron & Eloise (Hickman) Ladner; sisters Doris Broadus and Patsy Vanaman, and a brother, Keith Ladner. Arnette is survived by: his daughter, Catrina Rogers; three grandchildren: Chantel McNeese, Trey & Laney Rogers; his nieces & nephews: Mike (Charlotte) McKeown, Timmy (Charlene) McKeown, Troy (Virginia) McKeown, Freddy and Mark Vanaman, and Joan Ladner, along with countless friends and acquaintances made over the years. Services have been set for Wednesday, Dec. 19th at Saucier Holiness Church, with Bro. Scooter Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 AM until the funeral service, set to begin at 12:00 PM. Following the service, Arnette will be interred in the Galilee Landmark Missionary Baptist Church cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Ladner family in their time of need, and asks that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
